Thank you for choosing ChindoLocs for your locs journey. To ensure we continue delivering excellent service, please take a moment to review our guidelines and policies. By confirming your appointment, you agree to these terms.
Consultations
All new clients must complete a paid consultation, available in-person or virtually. For virtual consultations, please mention this preference in your notes and provide clear photos or videos of your hair. For starter locs, hair should be natural, product-free, and free from previous styles. During consultation, we’ll explain the service details and provide an estimate. For virtual appointments, final pricing will be confirmed after an in-person assessment of your hair’s length, thickness, and required work (repairs, technique changes, etc.).
Appointment Confirmation
To secure your booking, a valid credit or debit card is required. We charge 30% of the total service cost at confirmation. Your appointment is officially booked once you receive a confirmation email or text. We reserve the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments. For in-salon bookings, if you neither confirm nor cancel and we haven’t canceled, we expect you to attend. Please note that, depending on scheduling, another stylist from our team may assist you during your visit.
Appointment Preparation
Our loc services include washing and simple styling (up to 20 minutes) as part of the session.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Our schedule fills quickly. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment so we can accommodate others. Deposits may be transferred once for rescheduling, subject to availability. Cancellations made between 24 to 48 hours before your appointment will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations less than 24 hours before or no-shows will be charged 60% of the service cost. This policy helps us maintain quality service for all clients.
Payments
We accept payments via Electronic Funds Transfer (Interac) and credit/debit cards on file. Card payments incur a 3.5% processing fee. Please note that cash payments are not accepted. Prices quoted are starting estimates; final costs will be confirmed before service begins.
Deposits
For appointments over $500, a non-refundable, non-transferable 30% deposit is required. For all other services, a 30% non-refundable deposit applies and can only be transferred once upon rescheduling, subject to availability.
Late Arrivals
If you’re running late, please contact us immediately at chindoprisca@gmail.com or by phone. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will incur a fee of $1 per minute up to $20. If you arrive later than 35 minutes, your appointment may be rescheduled and charged as a no-show if another client is booked after you.
Refunds
We strive for your complete satisfaction. While we do not offer refunds for services already rendered, please contact us within 3 days if you have concerns about your service so we can address them. Product sales are final with no refunds or exchanges.
Safety and Conduct
To maintain a safe and comfortable environment, please attend your appointment alone, as we do not accommodate guests who are not receiving service. We reserve the right to refuse service to clients who do not comply with our policies or treat our team with disrespect.
Parking
Paid street parking is available outside our salon. There is also parking across the street at No Frills; however, we do not have rights to this lot.
Photography and Videography
We document our work through photos and videos to share with clients and for our records. By confirming your appointment, you consent to being photographed unless you notify us otherwise before or upon arrival.
